In 1939 James E. Lawson Sr. started Lawson’s Auto Repair at the corner of Harding Road and Harding Place right in the heart of Belle Meade. He established a business, which has proven itself against time, location change and three generations. Our Shop is now located at 5137 Harding Pike, one block from our original site. Currently, his Grandson Jimmy Lawson owns the shop and it is managed by PK Kelley. Jimmy and PK still keep that old fashion service alive just as Mr. Lawson Sr. did for all those years.
